PT Sahabat Nusantara Teknologi Inovasi (SANTI) has signed a cooperation agreement with Japan
based Kanadevia Corporation (formerly known as Hitachi Zosen) to provide aftermarket services
for Indonesia’s fertilizer industry.
The agreement covers maintenance and support services for ammonia and urea plants in Indonesia,
according to a social media post by Shantanu Gangras, director of SANTI.
SANTI said it has worked with Kanadevia since 2017 as the company’s sole representative in
Indonesia for pressure vessels and process equipment used in refinery projects. The new partnership
expands cooperation to the fertilizer sector.

Kanadevia has a large installed equipment base in Indonesia and is an approved manufacturer for
technologies developed by KBR Inc for ammonia plants and Toyo Engineering Corporation for
urea production.
SANTI Group provides consulting, equipment supply and technical services for the oil and gas,
petrochemical and power generation industries.
The companies plan to support upcoming revamping projects for ammonia and urea plants across
Indonesia under the new cooperation framework.
