Sales Engineer ( Sugar/Oleochemicals Industry Equipment )

Education & Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial).
•⁠ ⁠Additional certifications in process equipment, project management, or industrial sales (preferred).

Professional Experience:
• ⁠5-7 years experience in industrial equipment sales
•⁠ ⁠2-3 years experience in Sugar or Oleochemicals Industry equipment sales
•⁠ ⁠Proven ability in managing full sales cycles, technical presentations, and project closing
•⁠ ⁠Experience working with EPC contractors, end-users, and principals

Technical Competencies:
•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of industrial process equipment: centrifuges, evaporators, boilers, crystallizers, pumps, heat exchangers, filtration systems
•⁠ ⁠Able to read and interpret technical drawings (P&ID, datasheets, equipment specs).
•⁠ ⁠Understanding of sugar mill or oleochemical plant production processes
•⁠ ⁠Familiar with tender processes, technical proposals, and commercial bids

Sales & Business Skills:
•⁠ ⁠Skilled in negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship building
•⁠ ⁠Able to conduct site visits, technical discussions, and non-hands-on troubleshooting
•⁠ ⁠Experienced in sales strategy development, opportunity forecasting, and target achievement
•⁠ ⁠Capable of coordinating with principals/suppliers for technical and commercial matters

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal & written)
•⁠ ⁠Strong interpersonal skills for engaging clients at engineering and management levels
•⁠ ⁠Able to prepare professional reports, proposals, and sales documentation

Personal Attributes:
•⁠ ⁠Highly motivated, proactive, and target-oriented
•⁠ ⁠Independent yet able to collaborate across teams
•⁠ ⁠Willing to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
